Test 90A - All Doors Fail To Lock & Unlock From One Switch
NOTE:
Perform TEST 87A
or 95A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
and WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
after each repair.
- Remove appropriate door trim panel. Disconnect door lock switch connector. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal No. 4 (Pink wire) on door lock switch connector. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Connect jumper wire between terminals No. 1 (Orange/Violet wire) and No. 4 (Pink wire) on door lock switch connector. Using scan tool, read door lock switch voltage. If voltage is 8 volts or less, repair open Orange/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 8 volts, replace door lock switch.
