Test 5B - No Response From Anti-Lock Brake Controller Module

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Dodge Intrepid and 1998 Chrysler Concorde. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Inspect fuse "K" in Power Distribution Center (PDC). PDC is located in engine compartment. If fuse is okay, repair open Red/Dark Green wire between PDC and anti-lock brake controller module 25-pin connector. If fuse is blown, go to next step.
  2. Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between battery ground and PDC fuse "K" (Red/Dark Green wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Red/Dark Green wire for short to ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace fuse.
