Fog Lights Will Not Turn Off

NOTE: Perform EXTERIOR LIGHT TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-2A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Ensure headlight switch is in OFF position. Using scan tool, select SENSORS. Read headlight switch voltage. If scan tool displays HEADLAMP SWITCH VOLTAGE: 4.5 VOLTS, go to next step. If scan tool does not display HEADLAMP SWITCH VOLTAGE: 4.5 VOLTS, replace headlight switch.
  2. Remove fog light relay from junction block. See Figure. Junction block is located behind left end cap of instrument panel. See Figure. If fog lights are not illuminated, repair fog light relay output circuit for short to voltage. If fog lights are illuminated, go to next step.
  3. Monitoring relay for clicking sound, install fog light relay in junction block. If clicking sound exists, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is mounted to junction block located behind left end cap of instrument panel. See Figure.
