Right Thermistor Out Of Range High

NOTE: Perform MEMORY SYSTEM TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-4A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect right seat cushion heater 4-pin connector. Turn ignition on. Turn right seat heater on. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal "D" (Black/Light Green wire) on right seat cushion heater harness connector. If voltage is greater than 5.5 volts, go to step  3. If voltage is 5.5 volts or less, go to next step.
  2. Measure voltage between ground and terminal "C" (Tan/Dark Blue wire) on right seat cushion heater harness connector. If voltage is greater than .5 volts, repair (Tan/Dark Blue wire) for short to voltage. If voltage is .5 volts or less, replace right seat cushion.
  3. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) 26-pin harness connector. MHSMM is located under front of seat. See Figure. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal "D" (Black/Light Green wire) on right seat cushion heater harness connector. If voltage is greater than .3 volts, repair Black/Light Green wire for short to voltage. If voltage is .3 volts or less, replace MHSMM.
