Left Mirror Horizontal Sensor Out Of Range High
NOTE:
Perform MEMORY SYSTEM TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see
BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-4A after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) 26-pin harness connector. MHSMM is located under front of seat. See Figure. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 20 (Dark Blue/Yellow wire) on MHSMM harness connector. If voltage is 4.5 volts or less, replace MHSMM. If voltage is greater than 4.5 ohms, go to next step.
- Disconnect left memory mirror connector. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 9 (Dark Blue/Yellow wire) on left memory mirror harness connector. If voltage is .2 volts or less, repair Dark Blue/Yellow wire for short to voltage. If voltage is greater than .2 volts, replace left memory mirror.
