Left Mirror Vertical Sensor Out Of Range Low
NOTE:
Perform MEMORY SYSTEM TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see
BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-4A after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) 26-pin harness connector. MHSMM is located under front of seat. See Figure. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 7 (Yellow/Orange wire) on MHSMM harness connector. If resistance is .7 ohms or greater, replace MHSMM. If resistance is less than .7 ohms, go to next step.
- Disconnect left memory mirror connector. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 7 (Yellow/Orange wire) on left memory mirror harness connector. If resistance is less than 1000 ohms, repair Yellow/Orange wire for short to ground. If resistance is 1000 ohms or greater, replace left memory mirror.
