Rear Riser Up Position Stuck
NOTE:
Perform MEMORY SYSTEM TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see
BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-4A after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Disconnect power seat switch 10-pin connector. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 8 (Yellow/White wire) on power seat switch harness connector. If voltage is .5 volts or less, replace power seat switch. If voltage is greater than .5 volts, go to next step.
- Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) 16-pin harness connector. MHSMM is located under front of seat. See Figure. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 9 (Yellow/White wire) on power seat switch harness connector. If voltage is .5 volts or less, replace MHSMM. If voltage is greater than .5 volts, repair Yellow/White wire for short to voltage.
