Body Verification Test

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. If BCM was replaced, turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds. Program all RKE transmitters, recalibrate HVAC doors and program other options as necessary.
  2. If vehicle is equipped with VTSS, select MISCELLANEOUS and ENABLE VTSS. If battery was disconnected, start engine and recalibrate HVAC doors using scan tool.
  3. Ensure ignition is on. Erase all DTCs using scan tool. Turn ignition off and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and fully operate system that was malfunctioning.
  4. If system is not operating properly, go to SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A . Using scan tool, read Body DTCs. If any DTCs are present, go to SYMPTOM ID TEST 1B . If no DTCs are present, system is operating correctly and customer's complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
