Wipers Operate In High Speed Only

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION article. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-2A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Remove HI/LO relay from Power Distribution Center (PDC). See Figure. PDC is located in engine compartment. See Figure. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between terminals "B" and "C" on HI/LO relay socket. Turn ignition on. Turn wiper switch to LOW speed position. If voltage is 9 volts or less, replace HI/LO relay. If voltage is greater than 9 volts, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Bone 12-pin connector C3. BCM is mounted to junction block located behind left end cap of instrument panel. See Figure.
