DTC P0141-B: O2S 1/2 Heater Failure
- Using scan tool, read FREEZE FRAME data. Ensure hex code matches DTC on scan tool. Hex code should be 69. Utilize FREEZE FRAME data to help in diagnostics. Condition to set trouble code is not present at this time. O2S 1/2 HEATER FAILURE DTC sets when PCM uses O2S signal voltage readings, during O2S cool down period, with heater off compared to O2S signal voltage with heater on. Possible causes are: open heater element circuit, O2S failure, O2S heater failure, PCM failure, faulty connections or wiring, open ASD fuse or open ASD relay circuit. Test is complete. Using scan tool, erase DTC. Perform TEST VER-5A: ROAD TEST FOR OBD-II TROUBLE CODES .
