Removal & Installation

  1. Transmission Control Module (TCM) is located at driver's side front corner of engine compartment, next to power distribution center and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). See Figure .
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable at remote battery terminal on passenger's side strut tower. Remove speed control servo with bracket and lay aside.
  3. Remove filler neck from windshield washer fluid bottle. Disconnect harness connectors from TCM. Remove TCM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
