OTIS Messages Not Received
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with Overhead Travel Information System (OTIS) module. If scan tool communicates with OTIS module, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with OTIS module, repair communication concern. See BUS +/- SIGNALS OPEN FROM OR BLANK SCREEN ON OTIS .
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on for approximately one minute. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If this DTC resets, replace Body Control Module (BCM). If this DTC is not reset, problem is intermittent.
