Driver Heated Seat Switch Stuck In High/Low State
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect driver's heated seat switch harness connector. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off, then on. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If DRIVER HEATED SEAT SWITCH OPEN/SHORTED TO GROUND is not retrieved, go to next step. If only DRIVER HEATED SEAT SWITCH OPEN/SHORTED TO GROUND is retrieved, replace driver's heated seat switch.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminal No. 18 (Tan/Dark Green wire) at MHSMM harness connector C1. See Figure . If no voltage exists, replace MHSMM. If any voltage exists, repair short to voltage in Tan/Dark Green wire between driver's heated seat switch and MHSMM.
