Driver Thermistor Out Of Range High

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect driver's heated seat cushion harness connector. Turn ignition on. Turn driver's seat heater on. Measure voltage at terminal "D" (Black/Dark Green wire) at driver's heated seat cushion harness connector. See Figure . If voltage is greater than 5.5 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 5.5 volts or less, go to step  3 .
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C2. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminal "D" (Black/Dark Green wire) at driver's heated seat cushion harness connector. If no voltage exists, replace MHSMM. If any voltage exists, repair short to voltage in Black/Dark Green wire between driver's heated seat cushion and MHSMM.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminal "C" (Tan/Light Blue wire) at driver's heated seat cushion harness connector. If no voltage exists, replace driver's heated seat cushion. If any voltage exists, repair short to voltage in Tan/Light Blue wire between driver's heated seat cushion and MHSMM.
