Passenger Thermistor Out Of Range High

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect passenger's heated seat cushion harness connector. Turn ignition on. Turn passenger's seat heater on. Measure voltage at terminal "D" (Black/Light Green wire) at passenger's heated seat cushion harness connector. See Figure . If voltage is greater than 5.5 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 5.5 volts or less, go to step  3 .
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C2. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminal "D" (Black/Light Green wire) at passenger's heated seat cushion harness connector. If no voltage exists, replace MHSMM. If any voltage exists, repair short to voltage in Black/Light Green wire between passenger's heated seat cushion and MHSMM.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) harness connector C1. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at terminal "C" (Tan/Dark Blue wire) at passenger's heated seat cushion harness connector. If no voltage exists, replace passenger's heated seat cushion. If any voltage exists, repair short to voltage in Tan/Dark Blue wire between passenger's heated seat cushion and MHSMM.
