Parking Lights Will Not Turn Off

  1. Turn headlights off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check headlight switch voltage. If approximately 4.5 volts is displayed, go to next step. If approximately 4.5 volts is not displayed, replace headlight switch.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove parking light relay from junction block. If parking lights turn off, go to next step. If parking lights do not turn off, repair short to voltage in Black/Yellow wire between junction block and parking lights.
  3. Install parking light relay. If parking light relay clicks, replace Body Control Module (BCM). If parking light relay does not click, replace parking light relay.
