No Messages From BCM

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with Body Control Module (BCM). If communication was established, go to next step. If communication was not established, repair communication concern. See NO RESPONSE FROM BODY CONTROL MODULE (BUS +/- SIGNAL OPEN)  under COMMUNICATIONS.
  2. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on for approximately one minute. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If this DTC resets, replace instrument cluster. If this DTC is not reset, problem is intermittent.
