No Messages From SBEC

  1. Attempt to start vehicle. If vehicle starts and continues to run, go to next step. If vehicle does not start and continue to run, repair no start condition as necessary. See appropriate BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
  2. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on for approximately one minute. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If this DTC resets, replace instrument cluster. If this DTC is not reset, problem is intermittent.
