Courtesy Lights Inoperative From Headlight Switch

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, check courtesy light status. Turn courtesy lights on using headlight switch. If ON is not displayed, go to next step. If ON is displayed, replace BCM.
  2. Check White wire between terminal No. 19 at Body Control Module (BCM) harness connector C2 and terminal No. 6 at headlight switch harness connector for opens and shorts. If problem exists, repair wiring as necessary. If problem does not exist, replace headlight switch.
