Description & Operation

Power windows are operated by a permanent-magnet electric motor mounted in each door. Driver's power window switch provides ground to each motor. A 20-amp circuit breaker is used to protect circuit. Electric motor operation is changed by reversing electric current flow.

Master switch located in driver's door panel controls operation of all window functions as well as lock-out function. Individual switches mounted on each door control function of corresponding window. When lock-out switch is depressed on master switch, all other windows are inoperative from individual door window switches but operative from driver's master switch.

One-touch express down feature is standard for driver's window from driver's master window switch. Press driver's window switch momentarily and driver's window will automatically move to full down position. To cancel express down feature while operating, momentarily press driver's window switch to up position.
