Crankshaft Position Sensor
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If CKP sensor or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC will be stored in the powertrain control module. For Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor testing, see DTC P0335: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CONCORDE, INTREPID & 300M article.
