Sentry Key Immobilizer Module: Notes

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Do not apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. DO NOT reconnect battery before turning ignition on and ensuring no one is in vehicle. Air bag may deploy.
NOTE: If Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) has been replaced, SKIM and at least 2 sentry keys must be programmed. To program SKIM, see SENTRY KEY IMMOBILIZER MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. To program sentry keys, see SENTRY KEYS  under PROGRAMMING.
