Chime Inoperative

- Actuate Chime With Scan Tool
- Body Control Module - Chime Inoperative
Testing
- Ensure all doors are closed. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, actuate chime test. If chime does not sound, replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If chime sounds, system is functioning properly at this time. Fault may be intermittent. Check related wiring and connectors for poor connections or damage to wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check for other symptoms that may apply. See SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
