NOTE:
Cruise control system is also referred to a Speed Control (S/C) system.
The S/C system is electronically controlled and vacuum operated. The electronic control is integrated into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) located in left front corner of engine compartment. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . System consists of brake switch, PCM, S/C servo, S/C switches, Transmission Range Sensor (TRS), vacuum reservoir and vehicle speed sensor. System controls are located on each side of steering wheel. The left switch contains ON/OFF and SET buttons. The right switch contains ACCEL/RESUME, CANCEL and COAST buttons.
