Starter Does Not Disengage

- Starter Improperly Installed: Install starter, tighten to correct torque specifications. See STARTER MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Starter Relay Faulty: Test or replace if necessary. See STARTER RELAY under TESTING.
- Ignition Switch Faulty: Test or replace if necessary.
- Starter Assembly Faulty: Check components, if check is ok, replace starter assembly.
- Faulty Teeth On Ring Gear: Inspect teeth, rotate flywheel 360°, replace if damaged.
