Section 90 (Battery System): Battery: Installation

  1. Position the battery in the battery tray.
  2. Connect the positive and negative battery cables. Torque to 16 N.m (150 in.lbs.).
  3. Connect the heater blanket cord, if equipped.
  4. Install the battery hold down and install the hold down bolt. Torque to 16 N.m (150 in.lbs.).
  5. Install battery splash shield.
  6. Install the air cleaner housing. Refer to ENGINE 3.5L .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
