Setting Memory Positions Into Remote Keyless Entry System

Memory Heated Seat and Mirror Module (MHSMM) communicates with the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system via the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus (Violet/Yellow wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . MHSMM settings can be programmed and recalled by the RKE system. To program RKE system for memory recall, perform following procedures:

  1. Set memory seat to desired position. See MEMORY SYSTEM  under OPERATION.
  2. Press and release memory switch No. 1 button. Press and release UNLOCK button on one of the RKE transmitters. Do not press any buttons for 10 seconds. Set desired radio station presets.

To set RKE transmitter for memory position No. 2, repeat procedure and substitute memory switch No. 1 button with memory switch No. 2 button. To set memory recall for additional RKE transmitters, repeat procedure.
