RKE Program Mode Entered Without Program Request

Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Replace Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. Using scan tool, program all transmitters to be used with vehicle. Using scan tool, clear Body Control Module (BCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Using RKE transmitters, lock and unlock vehicle several times. Using scan tool, retrieve BCM DTCs. If this DTC resets, replace BCM.
