NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. Unless instructed otherwise in test step, reconnect any disconnected connectors.
NOTE: During Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module programming (configuration), scan tool prompts technician to configure switches. If RKE module is properly programmed and scan tool displays NO SWITCH CONFIGURATION SPECIFIED, RKE module is assumed to be defective.
  1. Program (configure) RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, read DTCs. If scan tool displays NO SWITCH CONFIGURATION SPECIFIED, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If scan tool does not display NO SWITCH CONFIGURATION SPECIFIED, no problem is found at this time. Test is complete.
