Customer Learn Programming Method
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 25 other vehicles, including the 2000 Plymouth Voyager, 2000 Plymouth Neon, 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 2000 Plymouth Breeze, and 2000 Dodge Stratus. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Ensure new sentry key blank is cut before proceeding. Insert one of the 2 valid sentry keys into ignition. Turn ignition on.
- After ignition has been on for 3 seconds, but no more than 15 seconds, turn ignition off. Remove key. Insert second valid sentry key. Turn ignition on. Both operations must be performed within 15 seconds.
- About 10 seconds after completion of step 2, VTSS LED indicator will flash and a single tone will be heard. This indicates system has entered CUSTOMER LEARN programming mode.
- Within 50 seconds, turn ignition off. Remove valid sentry key. Insert blank sentry key. Turn ignition on.
- After about 10 seconds, a single tone will be heard. VTSS LED indicator will stop flashing and stay on for about 3 seconds to indicate sentry key has been successfully programmed.
- SKIS will return to normal operation immediately following exit from CUSTOMER LEARN programming mode.
- Repeat procedure for each additional sentry key to be programmed.
