SKIM Message Not Received By MIC

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on bottom of instrument panel, to left of brake pedal. See Figure. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, select BODY, THEFT ALARM, then SKIM. If Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) responds, test is complete. If SKIM does not respond, perform BUS +/- SIGNAL OPEN FROM SKIM  test under COMMUNICATIONS.
