No CCD Message From PCM

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  and POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. If engine does not run, see TEST NS-SEL: NO-START TEST SELECTION in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If engine runs, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connectors. PCM is located in engine compartment between left inner fender and power distribution center. Turn ignition on. Connect one end of a jumper wire to ground. Using other end of jumper wire, backprobe terminal No. 59 (Violet/Brown wire) at PCM C2 connector. See Fig 1 . Using scan tool, select BODY, BODY COMPUTER, then SYSTEM TEST. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect jumper wire from terminal No. 59 and reconnect jumper wire to terminal No. 60 (White/Black wire) at PCM C2 connector. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in White/Black wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace PCM.
