Fog Lights Will Not Turn Off

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY CONTROL MODULES SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, retrieve Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs. If no DTCs exist, go to next step. If any DTCs exist, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION  table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Ensure headlight switch is off. Using scan tool, read HEADLIGHT SWITCH voltage. If voltage is 4.3-4.8 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not 4.3-4.8 volts, replace headlight switch.
  3. Remove fog light relay from junction block. If fog lights turn off, leave fog light relay removed, and go to next step. If fog lights do not turn off, repair short to voltage in fog light relay circuit (Light Blue wire) between headlight switch connector terminal No. 11 and junction block connector C2 terminal No. 2. See Figure and Figure .
  4. Install fog light relay. If relay clicks when installed, replace BCM. If fog light relay does not click when installed, replace fog light relay.
