RKE Fob Battery Low
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY CONTROL MODULES SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- To determine which transmitter set RKE FOB BATTERY LOW DTC, press any button on each transmitter. If no chime is heard in Body Control Module (BCM) when button is pressed, transmitter is okay. If chime is heard in BCM when button is pressed, check problem transmitter. Go to next step.
- Test voltage of each battery in problem transmitter. If voltage is more than 3 volts in both batteries, replace transmitter. If voltage is 3 volts or less in either battery, replace battery.
