Horn Fails To Sound With Alarm Tripped

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Press horn pad on steering wheel. If horn operates properly, go to next step. If horn does not operate properly, repair horn as necessary. See appropriate STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) from back of junction block. Connect a 12-volt test light between battery voltage and terminal No. 18 at BCM connector on back of junction block. See Figure . Press horn pad on steering wheel. If test light illuminates when horn pad is pressed, replace BCM. If test light does not illuminate when horn pad is pressed, replace junction block.
