Remote Keyless Entry Horn Chirp Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Press horn pad on steering wheel. If horn is operating properly, go to next step. If horn does not operate properly, repair horn as necessary. See HORN SYSTEM under TROUBLESHOOTING in STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES - CONCORDE, INTREPID, LHS & 300M article.
  2. Verify that horn chirp is enabled. See PROGRAMMING HORN ENABLE/DISABLE  under programming. If horn is enabled and horn chirp is inoperative, repair horn as necessary. See HORN SYSTEM under TROUBLESHOOTING in STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES - CONCORDE, INTREPID, LHS & 300M article.
