DTC P0125: Closed Loop Temp Not Reached: Description

Closed loop operation is monitored for 10 minutes after engine is started when battery voltage is more than 10.4 volts. DTC will set in Powertrain Control Module (PCM) memory when PCM senses that engine coolant temperature does not go to more than 60°F (15°C) within 10 minutes after engine is started. Two trips are required to set this DTC. Possible causes are: defective thermostat or low coolant level.
