DTC P0403: EGR Solenoid Circuit: Description

EGR system is monitored when engine is running and battery voltage is more than 10.4 volts. DTC will set in Powertrain Control Module (PCM) memory when EGR solenoid control circuit is not in the expected state when actuated by PCM. Possible causes are: defective EGR solenoid, Auto Shutdown (ASD) relay output circuit open, EGR solenoid control circuit open or shorted or defective PCM.
