RKE Unable To Enter Program Mode
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY CONTROL MODULES SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- Turn ignition off. Replace Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, clear Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, attempt to program all RKE transmitters to be used with vehicle. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. Using scan tool, retrieve BCM DTCs. If RKE UNABLE TO ENTER PROGRAM MODE DTC resets, replace BCM. If RKE UNABLE TO ENTER PROGRAM MODE DTC does not reset, test is complete.
