Turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds (to learn VIN). Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Figure. On vehicles equipped with Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS), use scan tool to enable VTSS. Program Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER .
