Powertrain Control Module: Notes
NOTE:
If replacing Powertrain Control Module (PCM), the correct vehicle mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be programmed into the PCM to prevent Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from being set in the Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module, Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) module. To program PCM and clear DTCs from CAB, SKIM and SRS modules, proceed to appropriate procedure.
NOTE:
If replacing both PCM and SKIM at the same time, first program PCM, then program SKIM. Replace all ignition keys and program them to new SKIM.
