Removal & Installation

NOTE: Transmission Control Module (TCM) is located at driver side front corner of engine compartment, next to power distribution center and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). See Figure .

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove speed control servo with bracket, and set aside. Remove filler neck from windshield washer fluid bottle. Remove TCM nut and screw. Lift TCM and bracket to gain access to TCM connector. Remove TCM connector screw. Disconnect TCM connector. Remove TCM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
