Memory Position No. 2 Stuck

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform MEMORY SYSTEMS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect memory set switch connector. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read MEM POS 2 SW status. If scan tool does not display OPEN, leave memory set switch connector disconnected, and go to next step. If scan tool displays OPEN, replace memory set switch.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Memory Heated Seat/Mirror Module (MHSMM) connector C1. Measure resistance between ground and memory set switch connector terminal No. 4, memory position 2 switch sense circuit switch sense circuit (Pink/White wire). See Figure . If resistance is less than 100 ohms, repair short to ground in Pink/White wire. If resistance is 100 ohms or more, replace MHSMM.
