VTSS Verification Test

CAUTION: Always turn ignition off before disconnecting or connecting any control module connectors. Failure to do so could result in damage to control module.

Close all doors and trunk. Open driver's door. Remove ignition key. Using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter, lock doors. Close driver's door. If VTSS indicator flashes rapidly for 15 seconds, then flashes slowly, system is operating properly. If indicator does not operate as specified, diagnose and repair problem.
