Remote Keyless Entry Module

NOTE: A scan tool is required for programming Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module.
  1. Ensure ignition is off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on bottom of instrument panel, to left of brake pedal. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Using scan tool, select THEFT ALARM, VTSS, MISCELLANEOUS and then CONFIGURE MODULE. Follow scan tool prompts. When configuration (programming) is complete, turn ignition off and disconnect scan tool. Program RKE transmitters into RKE module memory. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER .
