Anti-Lock Brake System (Abs) Control Module

ABS uses a Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module. CAB module monitors wheel speeds to modulate hydraulic pressure in each brake channel, when ABS or traction control are activated to prevent wheel lock-up under severe conditions to provide improved vehicle control. CAB module communicates with other modules via the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus circuit. For additional information on ABS, see appropriate ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES.
