DTC P0141: 1/2 O2 Sensor Heater Failure: Description

Monitor runs during O2 sensor cool-down period, after a hot drive cycle, with ignition off. PCM compares HO2S signal voltage during cool-down period with HO2S signal voltage when heater is on. DTC will set when difference between voltage readings is out of specified range. Possible causes are: defective 1/2 HO2S, heater control circuit open or shorted to ground, Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay output circuit open or defective PCM.
