TACHOMETER NOT OPERATING PROPERLY

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Attempt to communicate with the PCM
- Engine trouble codes
- Instrument cluster self test
- Observe the RPM display in the instrument cluster
- Observe the RPM display in the PCM
- Powertrain control module
