Turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds (to learn VIN). Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . On vehicles equipped with Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS), use scan tool to enable VTSS. On all vehicles, follow scan tool manufacturer instructions to program all other options as necessary.
