Courtesy Lights Inoperative - All Lights
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
Possible Causes:
- Fuse No. 19 Open
- Junction Block
- Body Control Module
- Courtesy Lights Driver Circuit Open
Testing
- Using a voltmeter, backprobe junction block connector C11 terminal No. 6, fused B+ circuit (Pink wire). See Figure and Figure . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, replace junction block. See JUNCTION BLOCK under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Remove and inspect fuse No. 19 in junction block. If fuse is open, replace fuse. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
- Using a fused jumper wire connected to ground, backprobe junction block connector C11 terminal No. 8, courtesy lights driver circuit. (Yellow wire). If overhead courtesy lights illuminate, replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If overhead courtesy lights do not illuminate, repair open in Yellow wire.
